knit summer scarves pattern

Now it's a fun, creative hobby for anyone. Knitting threads or yarns are used to create cloths or warm cloths.

In weft knitting, the entire fabric may be produced from a single yarn, by adding stitches to each wale in turn, moving across the fabric as in a raster scan. In the knit stitch on the left, the next (red) loop passes through the previous (white) loop from below, whereas in the purl stitch (right), the next stitch enters from above. Knitting may be hand made or machine made.

If they are not secured, the loops of a knitted course will come undone when their yarn is pulled; this is known as ripping out or unravelling knitting. Knitting is the delicate balance of holding needles and continuously feeding yarn until a pattern emerges. Fabrics in which the number of knit and purl stitches are not the same, such as stockinette, have a tendency to curl; by contrast, those in which knit and purl stitches are arranged symmetrically (such as ribbing, garter stitch or seed stitch) tend to lie flat and drape well.

Brainstorm, and figure out which way of teaching would be best for you and your students! Get knitting!
