free knit or crochet dishcloth patterns

I wanted to set out some basic knitting instructions as a refresher so here it is. Learning how to knit is easy today with so many online resources.

Start with the knitting needle with the cast on stitches in your left hand. Hem top should be knitted by taking a stitch from the first row, and should be hanged on the needle. Although knitting may be done with ribbons, metal wire and more exotic filaments, most yarns are made by spinning fibers.

Such needles are usually 10-16 inches long but, due to the compressibility of knitted fabrics, may be used to knit pieces significantly wider. A tie is visible at the left; after untying, the hank may be wound into a ball or balls suitable for knitting. This bag need not be some expensive item any medium size cloth bag will suffice.

Knit it like you would knit any stitch. Good luck with your knitting.
