how to knit a scarf

Now it's a fun, creative hobby for anyone. Posted here are some easy knitting instructions for beginners.

The first and most common type consists of two slender, straight sticks tapered to a point at one end, and with a knob at the other end to prevent stitches from slipping off. Cable needles are typically very short (a few inches), and are used to hold stitches temporarily while others are being knitted. The Purl stitch will also be in any knitting instructions.

In the knit stitch on the left, the next (red) loop passes through the previous (white) loop from below, whereas in the purl stitch (right), the next stitch enters from above. A wale can split into two or more wales using increases, most commonly involving a yarn over. The local yarn store will often provide assistance if you are having trouble with your pattern, regardless of whether you purchased your knitting supplies from them or a competitor.

These few basic knitting instructions are the foundation of any project you will ever knit. Exercise is great, yet, doing something for your soul, is just as important.
