how to knit with circular needles

Knitting may be done by hand or by machine. Anyone who has anything to do with knitting will know the importance of knitting yarns.

This is particularly good as the pattern will be correct for the yarn being used. But mistakes can also be a good thing. Once you have cast on, hold the knitting needle with the cast on stitches in your left hand.

Fabrics in which the number of knit and purl stitches are not the same, such as stockinette, have a tendency to curl; by contrast, those in which knit and purl stitches are arranged symmetrically (such as ribbing, garter stitch or seed stitch) tend to lie flat and drape well. There are two kinds of knitting, weft knitting and warp knitting. Sometimes, the yarns being plied are fed at different rates, so that one yarn loops around the other, as in boucl .

Most new knitters should start with some of the basic patterns listed above and work on mastering basic stitches. While knitting patterns can offer suggestions for design and color ideas, it is ultimately up to the artist to decide what the final product what look like.
